This year, our main focus was on modernizing and expanding our water supply and irrigation systems to ensure we can apply more water on the course where and when it’s needed, helping us maintain lush, thick, green turf throughout the entire season. This work included:
- Reworked and upgraded our main water well, doubling its flow rate.
- Expanded the irrigation pond on Hole 18, doubling our daily irrigation capacity.
- Installed a hard-pipe connection between the ponds on Holes 11 and 18, improving aesthetics and pace of play.
- Installed the Hunter Central Irrigation Control System, enabling full remote irrigation management from a phone or computer.
During the 2025 season we also:
- Continued our tee-box leveling program across the course.
- Paved the full cart path on Hole 16 from the top of the hill down to the green.
- Last season, we utilized covers on nine of our greens, resulting in faster and thicker grass growth compared to the uncovered ones. Consequently, we have purchased nine more covers this season, ensuring all greens will be protected this winter. These covers safeguard the turf from wind desiccation, erosion, frost, and winter damage.
