The season does not have to end when the course closes. On Saturday, November 7, 2026, Boulder Canyon Golf Club opens a permanent Trackman Golf Simulator room in the same building as the Golf Shop and The Canyon Grille. It is open seven days a week, 10 am to 8 pm, and anyone can book it in one-hour blocks. You do not need to be a member. Online booking goes live Friday, November 6, the day before the room opens, so you can lock in opening weekend early.
Our Trackman is the same technology used by tour professionals. Every swing is measured with the accuracy the best players in the world rely on, so your ball flight, carry distance, and shot shape are the real thing, not a guess. Play a full round at Pebble Beach or Pinehurst, work through a practice session with instant feedback on every number that matters, or settle a long-running argument with friends on the closest-to-the-pin challenge. The bay holds up to six players at once, which makes it an easy night out for a foursome, a family, or a group visiting Deadwood for the weekend.
Rates are $50 per hour Monday through Thursday and $60 per hour Friday through Sunday, and rental clubs are included with every bay rental. Book your time online, then check in at the Golf Shop when you arrive.
Food and drinks are easy. The Bunker, our grab-and-go counter next to the Golf Shop, is open every day the simulator is, and the full Canyon Grille menu is available during your session whenever the Grille is open. Better yet, make an evening of it: book your bay, then settle in at The Canyon Grille before or after you play for a steak, smoked brisket, a burger, or a salad and a drink. Golf and dinner under one roof, all winter long.

A great golf season in the Black Hills is shorter than any of us would like. The simulator room gives our members, our guests, and the Deadwood and Sturgis community a place to keep playing, keep improving, and keep having fun together from the first snow until the course reopens in spring.
